I expected this to be so much simpler… sighs.

I’m going to start sketching the line art first, scanning it, and THEN coloring to see how things work out.

With the hair, yet I still need to terribly work with the eyes. Why do they look much more prettier when done in pencil and paper, w h y !?

Trying to give a bit of more deep to the character.
Now, the for SURE things I HAVE to practice are the eyes.
Drawing digital eyes is much more complicated than when I do them traditionally.

I haven’t drawn on my tablet in MONTHS, been working mostly on traditional works that I will be probably posting tomorrow,
and even though relatively speaking this is quite horrible and unfinished,
I did expect a lot worse.
So, for what’s it’s worth, I’m somewhat relieved at the outcome.
What’s next?
From now on I will try to work on full body, or at least finished down to ‘bust’ pieces.
So for now I will be focusing mostly on hair, body, and backgrounds.
